To support coaching and leadership development we awarded eight scholarships to help people attend USRowing’s Annual Convention, held Dec. 8-13, 2020.
With the help of iCrew, Tacoma Youth Rowing, Science of Rowing, Seize the Oar Foundation, and Concept2, our first-ever Changemaker Scholarships supported an incredible group of rowers, coaches, want-to-be coaches, coxswains, founders of rowing-related small businesses, club administrators, and club board members.
In this episode, we’re talking with our 2020 Changemakers, to find out what nuggets of information they picked up at the USRowing Annual Convention, what they’ve been able to put into practice since, and how they’re managing as coaches and leaders through a global pandemic that has forced clubs to pivot into new types of programming.
