Be an Allies AMBASSADOR

We know you’re out there – LGBTQIA+ (especially trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive) rowers, parents and family members of LGBTQIA+ athletes, and of course, allies. At a time when disinformation and hate is targeting the trans community, our sport needs visible advocates who believe in racing opportunities that challenge the gender binary and foster true belonging.

If you’ve ever wondered how to get involved with our Allies with Oars initiative, now’s your moment: apply to be a 2026 Allies Ambassador.

Since 2022, Steady State Network has raced as Allies with Oars to champion inclusion and accessibility for all rowers, regardless of gender identity. We’ve built competitive lineups for major regattas, sparked important conversations, and pushed for gender-expansive inclusion at every level of the sport.

As an Ambassador, you’ll help carry that mission forward by representing Allies with Oars at local rowing events, through your social media, and—if selected—by racing with us at USRowing Masters Nationals, the Head Of The Charles, or other regattas nationwide.

If you or someone at your boathouse would be a great fit, please spread the word and apply to join our 2026 team.

Not the right time for you to commit? We could really use your support as a donor to the Allies initiative to ensure equitable access for all our athletes.
