Recovery on Water: A Boatload of COmmunity

Recovery on Water is much more than just a rowing team; it’s a lifeline for breast cancer patients and survivors of all ages and all stages. Founded in 2008, ROW offers a unique opportunity for members in the Chicago area to discover the physical and mental health benefits of exercise among a community of their peers. ROW’s coaches and Board firmly believe in the power of movement, both on the water and in life.

A note about Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) – it’s an opportunity to say "I see you, how are you doing?" to the patients and survivors in your life. They might need the chance to talk, even after treatment has ended. And you are certain to learn something about breast cancer, and about your loved one.
